Security

This site has stringent security measures in place to prevent misuse, alteration or loss of any Customer information under our control. Customers data on Anyversary is protected by a 256bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer), the strongest commercially available level of encryption. This means the private data of the Customer will be encrypted at all times whilst in transit over the Internet. The Customer should see a solid yellow padlock in their browser status bar indicating the encryption is taking place.

As we use PayPal to process all credit and debit card orders we never have access to your credit or debit card information at any time. If you would like to check PayPal’s credentials and security measures please click on the following Paypal Security link.

All customer data, information and personal details (excluding bank details) are stored on our server, which is located in a secure and guarded environment.

 

Payment

Payment can be made via PayPal, personal cheque (UK only) and postal order (UK only).

Anyversary accepts the following credit and debit cards: American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Switch. If you have used one of these methods for payment the transaction will be dealt with by PayPal. Soon after an order is placed, you will receive a Worldpay email confirmation for the transaction amount. This means your bank has authorised the transaction. An email from Anyversary will be sent as confirmation of goods being dispatched.
Anyversary also accepts payment by personal check and postal order (both UK only). Customers’ goods will be dispatched upon clearance of funds and a confirmation email will be sent informing the customer of dispatch.

All transactions are processed using a secure server. All credit card payment transactions are solely between the customer PayPal. Anyversary cannot be held liable for any losses incurred as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you to these companies.

 

Orders

All orders placed on the Anyversary website will be subject to acceptance in accordance with the following terms and conditions:

Submitting an order confirms your agreement to pay for all goods in full. Exceptions to this are if item(s) are out of stock and you choose to cancel that item or when returning an item(s)  (see the returns section for our terms and conditions regarding returning goods).

Refunds will not be given on any personalised item unless they are faulty.

All goods are subject to availability. In the unlikely event that we are unable to supply the goods, you will be contacted by email to the address you supplied during the order process and given the option of a new delivery date or a full refund.

All goods remain the property of Anyversary until full payment has been received and all funds have cleared.

 

Delivery of goods

UK Delivery is FREE

 

Delivery to mainland UK is free for all orders. Free delivery includes orders placed by customers living outside of the UK who wish to purchase gifts for friends and family in the UK. Simply provide their UK address and we will deliver the gift.

All deliveries are made by Royal mail or parcel Force and are required to receive a signature to be completed. Deliveries are made Monday to Friday only. If the recipient is not at home on the first delivery attempt a second attempt at delivery will be made on the following working day. If, again, the recipient is not at the stated address to receive their parcel, a card will be posted for the recipient, indicating delivery has been attempted and requesting the recipient to contact the depot through the telephone number on the card to arrange a more suitable time for delivery or to have the parcel taken to their local Post Office. If there has been no response within 14 days Anyversary will be notified. We will do our best to rectify the problem by trying to contact the purchaser, if this fails the goods will be returned to Anyversary. Thereafter, the customer will incur a redelivery charge to deliver the goods again at twice the original cost as Anyversary will have incurred a return charge by the carrier. The customer will also be charged for any items that have become unsuitable for sale.

Anyversary will make every effort to dispatch your item(s) the next working day unless otherwise stated in the product description, however, very occasionally, dispatch of goods may take slightly longer. We will not be liable for any delay or failure to despatch the products within our estimated dispatch time or any loss caused to you by late delivery.

If your gift is not delivered within the estimated delivery time quoted, please contact us by telephone or email and we will do our utmost to ensure that your gift is received as quickly as possible.

The customer will receive an email confirmation once the goods have been despatched.

Please note delivery to non-mainland UK destinations may take 2-5 days depending on destination.

The purchaser must inform Anyversary in reasonable time if any goods are not delivered (lost in transit).

If an item is out of stock it is usually clearly shown on our web site.  However, in the unlikely event that you order an item(s) that is out of stock, you will be notified and given the option of a revised delivery date or cancellation of that item.

Anyversary does not guarantee to assist in trying to rectify any problems which may have occurred 14 days or more from the date of purchase although we do accept returns within 30 days of purchase (see our returns section).

To complete your order and to provide the highest possible level of customer service we store your name, address, telephone number and email address but will not pass those details onto any third parties (unless directed by a legal authority).

You will not receive junk email, post or unsolicited phone calls as a result of using Anyversary. We do offer a reminder service, where we send you a reminder to purchase an anniversary gift, with a link to anyversary.co.uk, a few days before the date of your order the previous year. If you do not wish to receive this reminder simply tick the relevant box during the ordering process.

Anyversary uses technology to track the patterns of behaviour of our visitors. This includes the use of a ‘cookie’ which is a small data file transferred through your browser and stored on your hard drive. Your browser can usually be modified to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings. Anyversary uses this data to match your computer to personal information such as you order history. This is done in the confines of our secure server or through the encrypted transmission of data.

Anyversary collect the information you give lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Returns and Damaged Goods

If you are unhappy with your purchase, for whatever reason, and wish to receive a refund or replacement item, please return the goods to us in an unused, resaleable condition and in their original packaging by Recorded delivery within 7 days. You will need to contact us to find the correct postal address as this may differ depending on the item purchased. Item(s) should NOT to be returned until the customer has contacted Anyversary and has been informed how to proceed.

Please contact us via email (info@anyversary.co.uk) or telephone: 07853 216 575 within 48 hours of receiving a damaged/unsatisfactory item.

The original delivery charge and postage costs incurred returning the item will only be refunded if your order is incorrect, damaged or faulty.

The original delivery charge and return postage costs will not be refunded and will be the responsibility of the purchaser if your order is simply unwanted or unsuitable.

Personalised Items may only be returned if the goods were damaged or faulty.

Do not discard any broken or damaged items as this may have an effect on your refund.

Due to credit/debit card processing it may take up to 1 calendar month from the date Anyversary receives the returned item(s) to credit the customers account. We guarantee it will take no longer than one calendar month.

 

Prices

The prices of gifts shown on Anyversary are in British pounds, include VAT, standard packaging and postage or carriage unless otherwise stated. We do our utmost to ensure that the prices displayed on our website are correct, however in the unlikely event the price shown is incorrect Anyversary reserves the right to not fulfil the order at that price. Anyversary will notify you, the customers, by email to the address supplied during the order process and give you the option of reconfirming the order at the correct price or cancelling the order. If we are unable to contact the customer the order will be considered cancelled and a full refund will be given.

 

Customer Service and Complaints

We at Anyversary take customer service very seriously. If at any point you experience a problem or have a query please email info@anyversary.co.uk or call us on 07853 216 575 and we will do everything in are power to solve the complaint. We will advise you as to the time scale to resolve the complaint and keep you up to date (usually via email) with all progress. The customer has the responsibility of immediately informing us of any problems they become aware of regarding their order.

We will not be responsible for any losses resulting from your use, or your inability to use our website.

Anyversary contains links to other web sites, which are provided to enhance your anniversary gift buying or anniversary ideas, but these sites are not under our control and are for access at your sole discretion. Anyversary will not be held responsible for any loss or damage caused by using these sites, including the information, services or products displayed on those sites or their practices.

Anyversary shall not be liable for any loss or damage due to delays or failure to ship resulting from any cause beyond its reasonable control, for example, acts of God, acts or omissions of the purchaser, compliance with laws or regulations or defaults of sub-contractors or suppliers.

No warranty is given by Anyversary that our web site will be constantly online or free of defects and errors at any time or that our website is free from viruses or other infecting programmes at all times.
